Congratulations on a great, great season so far. You're an inspiration!
Business proposition: I've developed what I think is a very cool bike racing board game, "Breakaway!", seven stages and a finishing time trial. I propose to give you 60% in exchange to working with me on it - consulting, endorsing, marketing. I'm in Portland. Get back to me, if you wish, when the season's over.
On y va!

Hi Chris ! I`m a RSNT fan, from Romania, and I use to follow every tour where you are involved ! You have all my respect as a cyclist and as a man, because I`ve read a lot of things about you and I was surprised to find such a great person !
There`s a cycling group in Facebook , called < Ciclism > and all of us we use to tell you : McHorner, because we know that you`re a huge fan of McDonald ! :) It is our joke, you know !
Well, I`m glad that I had the possibility to write you some words and I hope to see you soon on Tv on the Utah Tour and to see good results from you ! Take care and I wish you : GOOD LUCK !!!!! GO Chris !!! GO !!! GO !!!! GO !!! GO !!!! GO !!!!

Hi Chris
Some unlucky incidents in the Olympic Road Race Saturday. And the crank - what happened there? I have a picture of you on the Boxhill circuit holding your broken crank and waiting for the team car - I can send a copy if you like.

Congratulations on another great Tour! You're an inspiration to all--particularly to those of us in the 40-and-over set! (I make fewer excuses about not getting out there on the bike now!) Your tenacity, integrity, and class are a real credit to the sport. Was really impressed also by your handling of the RSNT team drama running up to the Tour. Love watching your interviews--definitely consider a career in broadcasting in the future. Knock 'em dead at the Olympics!!

Chris:

Thanks for the interviews done with Bicycling Magazine and Frankie Andreu at this year's TdF. They were absolutely my favorite part of the after stage videos at le Tour. I look ed forward everyday to your raw, uncut, post stage comments. I wish more riders were as open, honest and giving of their time as you. Best of luck for the Olympics and I hope to see you racing again next season.

Hi Chris,

Although I am not accustom to writing "fan letters", I've been a fan of yours since 1996. I live in Seattle and you were having a tearing it up that year on the domestic scene. I picked you to win the Microsoft Grand Prix days before the start, even though I knew you were racing against Motorola. I was there with my son when you fulfilled my expectations when you got away with Frankie Andreu and beat him in the sprint. It was an Olympic qualifying event, but sadly, you were not invited to join the team to race in Atlanta (I still think that was a travesty).

I have followed your career since then and have been continually impressed with your integrity and tenacity. You are the type of rider that attracts me to the sport. As far as I am concerned, YOU exemplify what I love about competitive cycling. I love that at 40, you are still a "hard man". Sorry, to gush, but you are inspiration me. Thank you.

Chris - have been watching the Tour and yesterday on Versus in your interview you mentioned some supplements that the RadioShack team take. I didn't catch the name - it was said fast (I think a brand something sounding like Omega?) but you said it helps your legs recoup/lactic acid etc. Was wondering if you could provide the sponsors/brands you use for recovery/lactic acid supplements? thanks!

Hi, Chris

I've been watching the Tour and catching your after-race comments on Bicycling, etc for a couple + years now and I just want to say, if/when you retire, could you do us all a HUGE favor and go into live race coverage for NBC Sports or whoever? Your insight and comments are so spot on that everyone else that thinks they're a talking head sounds like a basketball player.

We're all pulling for you at the Tour and Olympics; kick ass, bro!

Now that RS doesn't have much of a chance for GC, I hope management cuts you guys loose and go for stage wins. Love to see you and Jens win a stage! Hope not to see a repeat of 2006.
