Hey Chris, I've been following you for a few years now. Actually, bumped in to you at the REI in Bend two years ago and we chatted a bit. It was just before you joined Astana. Anyway, I appreciate your perspective on racing and your profession. You really seem to be thankful for the opportunities you have and that's refreshing these days. Best wishes for a great 2010 season!

Regarding your "nutrition" plan. First, I have always used your "diet" as justification with my health-nut wife as evidence that fast-food rules. So, now that there's a little change to the strategy, here are a couple pieces of advice I came across in the "Handbook 2010" (source unknown, and obviously someone who's getting older, err "wiser").

Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar.
Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

Chris, I had the pleasure of riding with you a few years back in Las Vegas while you were her for the bike show. You showed up at Starbucks one morning and i was amazed at how polite and respectful you were to the other riders. Thanks for the memory!
